2022 Rally Sunday

Just like the leaves surprise us every year, you might be surprised when you visit us at ZION! Our services are fresh like Autumn air with relevant teaching, upbeat music, and a casual atmosphere where you can feel comfortable exploring the spiritual side of life. Our Rally Sunday is September 11th. Give us a try this fall – we would love to meet your family!

2022 Fall Sermon Series

Reading the Bible, we are introduced to many biblical figures that experience divine interventions in their life journey.  In a new sermon series titled ‘Heroes and Villains’ starting this fall, we will look into their life stories and see how God worked in their times of trouble, and learn how great His love for us is.
You wouldn’t want to miss what God prepares for you today.

The responses for the congregational survey came back, and we will move the start time for our Sunday Worship Service to 10:30, starting June 12.  Sunday School for ALL ages will be offered at 9:15 AM from the second Sunday of September. Thank you to everyone for completing the survey.

Waffle Wednesday

Come and join us for a waffle, coffee, and fellowship every Wednesday morning starting at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Hope to see you there!

Sunday School

Sunday School is back! Please see below the time and the teacher of the classes.

Pre-K through 5th Grade – Betty Nordeng and Nancy Flint

6th through 12th Grade – Matt Myrick and TBA

Zion’s Gate (John Shabb & Don Miller)
Zion’s Gate uses the Wired Word curriculum to consider current events through the eyes of the Christian faith. A major news story is examined and then discussed with reference to the Bible and our own faith experiences as Christians who have to contend with secular society. The class gathers in the Narthex. Bring your own experiences and reflections to share.
Explorers in Spirit (Connie Sherwood & Wayne Seames)
The Explorers in Spirit Adult Sunday Class will begin a new study on Paul’s first epistle to the Corinthians. Written to one of the first emerging churches in Europe, the letter provides five essays dealing with some of the most important issues that any group of believers faces. The class meets in the Sisters in Spirit room. If you would prefer to join us via videoconference, please contact Wayne Seames at (wayne.seames@und.edu)  prior to the class period for a Zoom link to the class.
