Zion church has been closely following the CDC guidelines and their recommendations for public health and safety during the pandemic.

In response to their new guideline that lifts mask mandate for vaccinated people, our church COVID-19 Task Force and Worship team had a joint meeting to revisit our current protocols.

Following the latest guideline, we have decided to leave mask-wearing at your discretion if you are fully vaccinated. And yet with a serious concern about the potential spread of the virus while we are singing, we continue asking people to cover their faces during these times.

We understand many of us now feel tired of wearing a mask, but having a good number of people who are vulnerable to the illness with underlying conditions or simply too young to be vaccinated, and we also need to protect ourselves from the new variants of the virus, we have come to a consensus on this compromising decision.

We will be vigilant in monitoring further changes in CDC recommendations and do our best to maintain maximum safety for you all.
