Dear Zion families and friends,

Responding to the heightened risk of wide community spread, our church COVID Task Force and Worship team had a joint meeting on Nov. 17th to discuss church activities for the next few weeks.

Below is what we have confirmed at the meeting.

  1. We will continue our in-person Sunday services for the time being.
Our current statistics show comparatively low attendance which enables us to practice adequate distancing from each other.  Besides, precautionary measures at Zion, including mask wearing, extra cleaning, and physical distancing, seem to have been effective so far.
  2. We will suspend in-person Sunday School until the end of December, effective from November 22nd.  In the meantime, online Adult Sunday School classes will continue their meetings at 9:00AM on Sunday mornings.
  3. Wednesday Youth Group will continue as scheduled on Dec. 2nd and 16th.
  4. Drive thru Love Feast will be offered on Nov. 24th, but all the other in-person activities will be put on hold until the next announcement.

The Task Force and Worship team will continue monitoring the risks at Zion and we will do everything we can to maintain safety.  However, we do want everyone to take the heightened risk seriously at this time.
If you decide not to attend in person, please remember Livestreaming of the services is always available through church website and Zion Facebook page.
